Second Generation West Auckland hihi?

Eric Wilson: "I took some photos of what I thought at the time was an unbanded adult female hihi. On closer examination on the computer at home I realise it must be a juvenile, with yellow markings around the beak and lack of mottled feathers on chest and abdomen. There was another bird nearby which was also likely to be a juvenile. If their mother was the unbanded female, this would make the juveniles the first second generation birds born in the Ark!"
